The activity held on that day was special and unique. We, as future English teachers, got to meet native speakers and get to know their culture and language better. We had fun and found many things in common. I, for example, found that one of the girls read books that I read too. Similarly, the students that we teach were extremely excited to meet the English native speakers. For many students, it was the first time they speak and meet foreigners who are from a different country. Thus, it was an unrepeatable and special event for them. Many students told us they wished they had more time to discuss topics such as different cultures. I genuinely think that this kind of activity should be applied in every school and that students should be exposed to different cultures.
